Each year, approximately 250 Wetaskiwin and Area youth and their families experience the thrill of our nation’s favorite sport. With the support of our generous area sponsors and countless volunteers, WMHA has been able to fundraise through the Barry Prefontaine Golf Tournament for our Ralph Pocock Fund which subsidizes minor hockey for families that may not be able to afford to play.
We greatly appreciate your past support and would like you to please consider supporting this major association wide fundraiser in one or more of the following ways:
Enter our tournament as a team or as an individual
$100/adult or $80/child
Price includes green fees, power cart and steak dinner. (under 18 do not get a cart)
Hole Sponsorship - $250
Each hole sponsor will be provided with one player entry, as well as on course and after meal recognition. Choose your favorite number 1-18 and we will take care of the rest.
Donate a tournament prize – four identical items
Donate cash or a silent auction item
Attend the evening dinner and social -$40
Includes a steak dinner and entry to the social and silent auction

Respect In Sport
Respect in Sports is an online program designed to reinforce and encourage positive sports behaviors from parents. Hockey Alberta is making this a mandatory course for at least one parent per household with a player in minor hockey. This is a different version than the Coach Respect in Sport and is still required even if someone in your household has the coach version.
To complete the course click HERE.
Once you have completed the program notify WMHA registrar at manager@wetaskiwinminorhockey.com with your certification number.
