U5 Program Overview
Age Group: 4-Year-Olds (2021 Birth Year Eligible)

Program Format:

• Two sessions of 10 skates each:

• • Session 1: October to December

  • Session 2: January to March

Key Details:

• Session 2 Withdrawals: Players withdrawing before the start of Session 2 may be eligible for a credit

• New Player Intake: New players may join for Session 2 if spots are available

• Gameplay Policy: No games will be scheduled against other minor hockey U5 teams

• Practice Design: Practices will be designed using small stations to encourage engagement, skill development, and movement

• Parental Involvement: A parent or guardian must be on the ice with the child until the coach or U5/U7 coordinator deems them ready to skate independently and able to follow instructions. 

• Equipment Requirement: Full CSA-approved hockey gear is mandatory for all players
